Committee of Citizens Developed the May 2022 Bond Proposal

Development of the May 2022 bond proposal involved an in-depth process of information gathering, research and community input.

Over the past several months, the District’s Facilities Planning Committee met five times to develop a response to the District’s growth and other evolving facility needs. The Committee studied growth projections, financial data, a community survey, various bond options, and more. After evaluating all the information, the Committee made a recommendation to the Board of Trustees.  

The FPC was comprised of approximately 45 people and the committee included parents, non-parents, campus staff, community and business members, and a mix of backgrounds and geographic representation.
