Register to Vote

To be eligible to vote in Aubrey ISD bond elections, individuals must be a registered voter who resides within the school district boundaries. The final day to register to vote is 30 days before election day.

Voter registration application forms can be completed online here. Forms must be mailed or hand-delivered to the Denton County Voter Registrar’s Office to complete registration.

Voting By Mail

Application for voting by mail should be received no earlier than 60 days before election day and no later than the close of business 11 days before election day. If the deadline falls on a weekend, the last day to submit an application is the preceding Friday. If the deadline falls on a state or federal holiday, the ballot must be received on the preceding business day.  Applications can be found here, and should be sent to the Denton County Elections Office:

Voters who wish to vote by mail must meet at least one of the four eligibility requirements:

  • 65 years of age or older

  • Disabled

  • Expected absence from the county

  • Confined in jail
